About Me

I am currently imersed in restoring my 1968 Cobia. Turns out there isn't much info out there on the original build, so I'm pretty much winging it. What looked to be a floor/stringer replacement is now down to replacing/rebuilding the bottom hull core as the original glass only appears to have been 1/4" thick. Pretty obvious now why I can;t seem to find any others of these out there. She was supposedly stored for 20-23 years due to legal reasons. Unfortunately she was apparently stored wet. So far I've removed probably 300# + of wet wood.

About Me

We are a young couple who just kinda lucked into the classic boating world.  We have a 1965 Larson All American with 72 original hours on it and the 66 Johnson 100hp Golden Meteor.  Both are showroom perfect.  We also have a restored 1957 Larson Thunderhawk Sr. with a 1969 Evinrude 55 Triumph which is my wife, Brandi's.  We love the boats and take them to shows whenever they are close enough.  They also both get lake time.  No trailer queens here!!  Our kids love them and we can't wait to pass them down.  Please feel free to contact us anytime, anyone is in our area of central Oklahoma.  We would love to meet some fellow classic boaters.  Thanks!!

About Me

have been in involved in research and development of boats, in particular the Aqua Dart which someone had questioned.  Also was involved in the design.  I probably can answer most of the questions related to this boat.
