Hello All,

I've just picked up a 1964 Hydro Swift 17' from the original owner. It was repowered in 1968 with a 1250 Merc 125 H.P. and last registered/run in 1988. It was kept indoors for most of her life until the last 6 months. It's so dirty and oxidized that it doesn't come clean unless it's compounded, but all the rubber is in fantastic shape except for the step pads. The chrome is pitted, windshield cracked, tanks full of sludge and carpet deteriorated. However, it's 100% complete as it came from the mfr except the motor, so I'm going to only clean her up and hope to have a real nice original, unrestored glassic.

I'm waiting for water pump and carb kits so I can try to start it.

I can't seem to find out which model it is and I've been having a hard time finding info on it. Does anyone have a source of info?

Thanks,

Mark
