I found a Lake N' Sea project boat not too far from me. It's a model built by Parsons in Traverse City, MI, So I think that it's a 58 or 59-

Overall, she looks pretty solid, though I did find some poorly repaired damage on the hull- an easy fix.

I would assume it needs a new transom, it looked weak, but I didn't do any digging-

It has it's builders plate w/ Serial #-

It's on what appears to be an original (or at least vintage) trailer, That's in OK shape, though it needs new tires... The trailer isn't that beefy, I'd be hesitant to go cross country with it.

He is asking $500, but I would bet you could negotiate.

If interested, Contact me and I can give you a phone #.

Actually, It is a driveby- It is sitting out by the road a few minutes from where I live, with "4 sale" on the windshield. I don't think that they are advertising it. If it's still sitting there when I get back in a month (I'm heading up to Michigan to get on my ship foro a while), I might just have to make them an offer... I THINK I can wedge it in to the basement :)

Well if you don't want it, I know someone who may take it.

Maybe shoot me a PM later.

These boats apparently had issues with the plywood core de-laminating, and finish issues, but I'm sure with modern re-finishing methods those problems can be easily resolved.

So where does that fall in line with your other restorations?

Still working on the Custom Craft?

the CC Will still be restored- I am not too sure what order I'll do them in, though. Of course, I need to finish the Glasspar first!

I've got room in the basement for both of them, and I couldn't pass it up. I don't think I'll probably run across another one anytime soon!
